The plaque is located at the Anna B. Warner Memorial Garden in on Constitution Island in NY. It was placed there in honor of the Warner sisters, Anna and Susan who dedicated much of their lives to gardening on the island. The plaque was erected by the Constitution Island Association in 1968, and was gifted to the garden by Mr. and Mrs. Francis C. Dale.

CONSTITUTION ISLAND WAS THE HOME OF SUSAN AND ANNA WARNER FROM 1836 - 1915. IT WAS PRESENTED TO THE UNITED MILITARY ACADEMY BY MISS ANNA WARNER AND MRS. RUSSELL SAGE.
