Tubbs is buried at the Saint Aloysius Cemetery in downtown Sturgis, SD. She was a known gambler and bootlegger, given the title "Poker Alice," during her years as a professional poker player. This title remained with her throughout her life, and is listed first on her grave. Her full name, which uses the last names of both her second and third husband, is listed beneath.
