-
Biographical Text
-
Fifteen foot tall metal monument with nautical reliefs of anchor and sailing ships, along with a dedication on the side.
The monument originally marked the graves of many seamen and is referred to as the Seamen’s Memorial. It was dedicated to Lambert due to the work she had done on behalf of the seamen of San Francisco.
The bodies of these seamen were moved in the 1910s. Now the area around this monument is a golf course.
