Bronze portrait bust resembling Willard. The bust sits on a tall cement pedestal and is housed in an open-air colonnade.
The bust was sculpted by Lorado Taft in 1923, who had created a number of sculptures of Willard over his lifetime. It was created in order to be displayed in the Hall of Fame for Great Americans, which currently consists of 96 busts of great Americans, who were nominated over seven decades by private citizens across the country.
