Bronze portrait bust resembling Palmer. The bust sits on a tall cement pedestal and is housed in an open-air colonnade.
The bust was sculpted by Evelyn Beatric Longham in 1924. It was created in order to be displayed in the Hall of Fame for Great Americans, which currently consists of 96 busts of great Americans, who were nominated over seven decades by private citizens across the country.
