Bronze statue depicting Dyer in a seated position, wearing 17th century clothing. Sits atop a stone pedestal which is inscribed with a description of Dyer’s advocacy for religious freedom and a quote of Dyer.
The statue was sculpted in 1959 and erected at the request of Dyer’s descendants. It sits in front of Massachusetts State House in Boston. It was in Boston that Dyer witnessed three times for religious freedom, before she was hanged in 1660.
