Granite headstone honoring the life and legacy of Delano. An engraving of a cross is on the front of the marker.
Delano was originally buried in Savenay, France, in 1919. In 1920, her body was exhumed and brought back to the United States to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery. She is buried in the aptly named “Nurse’s Section.” A statue of her likeness looks over this section of the cemetery.
