Stone cenotaph serving as a memorial to Chipeta and Chief Ouray decorated with a carving on an indigenous man.
The memorial is located on the grounds of the Ute Indian Museum, which is near the ranch that was once owned by Chipeta and her husband. It was erected in 1926 by the state of Colorado. - Text
