The Clara Barton service area is the last service area for southbound drivers on the New Jersey Turnpike, located between interchanges 2 and 1.
In order to honor Barton’s legacy as the founder of the American Red Cross, flag ceremonies have been held at the service area in the month of March (which is Red Cross month) in order to create awareness in the community.
In 2023, the original service area was torn down. The newly renovated service area reopened in 2024. - Date Modified
