The gravestone is made of marble.
Anthony is buried in the Anthony family plot, alongside her parents, siblings, and other relatives. In recent years, Anthony’s grave has become a popular site for voters. Each election day, voters will place their “I Voted” sticker on her headstone, memorializing Anthony’s efforts for women to achieve the right to vote, which did not come to fruition until after her death.
In 2020, it was decided that a plastic sleeve would be placed over the stone due to damage that had been sustained by voting stickers being placed on her gravestone. - Text
