Display containing images, memorabilia, and text relating to labor activist Mary Anderson.
The display was a part of the Department of Labor’s “Hall of Fame,” which was established in 1988. Anderson was inducted in 1991.
The “Hall of Fame” was revamped as the “Hall of Honor” in 2013 and the original displays were removed and replaced with a wall containing signatures of each of the inductees. Portraits and descriptions of the inductees are now available in the U.S. Department of Labor website, as opposed to at the actual exhibit. - Text
