Sue Kling was an author and activist. Born to Philip and Fannie Gold, Kling became involved with the US Communist Party, where she rallied for civil rights and unemployment wages. She also wrote poetry, journal articles, fiction, and non-fiction.
Kling was married to furrier and fellow activist Jack Kling until his passing in 1990. She had two children named Rhoda and Richard.
