Irma Cody Garlow was the daughter of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody and namesake of the Irma Hotel in Cody, Wyoming. Not much is known about her life, though she was noted for her various volunteer work. While she was at one point married to Lieutenant Clarence Armstrong Stott, she was later remarried to Frederick H. Garlow, manager of the Irma Hotel. She was mother to a daughter and two sons, Jane, Frederick, and William. She died of heart complications caused by the flu.
